Chelsea FC boss Andre Villas-Boas is reportedly keen on signing for Eden Hazard should they fail to tempt Jack Rodwell away from Everton.

Villas-Boas is eye on signing £20million rated Rodwell, while Everton boss David Moyes earlier this week admitted the west London club were yet to make contact over a possible January transfer bid.

According to the report on Wednesday recommits that, Rodwell will hold discussion with his manager in the next fortnight to discuss his future at Goodison Park club as he believes a move away from the club.

However, Villas-Boas may fail to sign Rodwell then he will make a move for Lille playmaker Hazard, who is a target for a number of big clubs from across Europe. Earlier this week, it was reported that Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and along with Manchester United, all sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old in action last weekend, as the race to sign the Belgium international goes up.

Eden Hazard has been connected with a move to the English Premier League throughout the season, with Arsenal generally thought to be topping the race to sign him next year, although Real Madrid and Barcelona are also keen.

But, Chelsea are told to have observed the Belgium international no less than five times this season, while reports in France have recommended Manchester City are preparing to launch a £30 million bid in January.

Hazard confirmed last month that, he will leave Lille next year and last week stated he has no idea on who he will be signing for. But he admits that, he wants to develop and play for the greatest sides in the world and he do all he can to achieve that.

But, Fabregas diagrees as he still scored nine goals and made 20 assists. However, all the news about him for not playing was trashed as rumors, and he knows what is true that he had one injury after another, and every time he got back to full fitness, something else was happening and not able to make into the field. The World Cup winner has already found the net five times and has provided an impressive five assists to team-mates, despite arriving in late August.

The 24-year-old says that his transition has been very comfortable, and in fact its was happier. Fabregas has been greatly encouraged by his good early-season form. To be honest, everyone at the club has been helping him in a great deal, above all his team-mates, some of whom he have known for many years. It’s what people expect, and the the midfielder continued saying that makes it mandatory for them and they have to deliver. It’s the same for Real Madrid, AC Milan, Manchester United, Juventus and Bayern, among others. That’s just the way it is at big clubs.

Chelsea are coming off the back of a defeat and will be concerned for the victory to keep speed in the title race, while Arsenal are starting to pick up a bit of form and are up to 7th in the table.

Chelsea suffered with a 1-0 score defeat to Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in the west London fixture last Sunday. They were down to nine men for large periods in what was a very heated affair between the two teams.

Leandro Damiao has been linked with a move to Spurs for some time, with the North London club likely to make a fresh approach for the £20 million-rated forward in January. Spurs are alleged to have failed with a bid of around £16 million for the 22-year-old during the summer transfer.

According to sources, the Brazil international is also on Liverpool’s hit-list, with the Merseyside’s is having scouted the highly-rated youngster no fewer than six times this season. Liverpool assistant manager Steve Clarke also watched Leandro in action previous this month, as he scored for his country in the 1-0 victory against Ghana at Fulham’s Craven Cottage soil.

The Ajax right-back has been invited by a number of clubs in recent months, among them Manchester United and Arsenal, with the 23-year-old valued at £12 million by his club.

How serious the Red Devils are about signing Damiao remains to be seen yet. The club spent over £55 million on Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez at the start of the season, and strengthened their aggressive options at the end of last month by signing Craig Bellamy on a free transfer.

But, the club’s American owners are also keen on attracting the best young players to Anfield and a bid might be made, when the transfer window re-opens in the New Year fall.

Porto and Inter Milan are also thought to be keen on Brazilian superstar, who has disclosed that he is interested in a move to Europe.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder signed a four-year contract with Manchester City, adding the France midfielder to an expensively assembled squad already filled with attacking talent. He is a incredible key-player because he has skill form, he has mentality, City manager Roberto Mancini admits on the club’s website.

Mancini told: I knew him, when he played for Marseille; I followed him when I was at Inter Milan club and we wanted to take him five years ago. But, I think in the last three years in the Premier League he is improved a lot. Now I think he is a top player.

Arsenal was obligated to sell after three years because Nasri refused to sign a new deal and might have left on a free transfer next year, when his most recent contract expired. The winger also gave a leaving shot to Arsenal supporters, saying he likely a more loving atmosphere at Eastlands that at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have good followers but they are not that zealous, since they moved from High bury to the Emirates in 2006, Man City manager said. Nasri will be providing even more inspiration for a City squad already including the attacking talents of Argentina forward Sergio Aguero, Spain midfielder David Silva and England winger Adam Johnson.

Sheik Mansour’s investment are nearly $US 1 billion ($A956.85 million) in three years as owner. Nasri a player possibly like David Silva but, the difference from David is he can play also in the middle. Mancini gushed.

Samir Nasri was nominated for both the PFA Young Player of the Year and PFA Players’ Player of the Year awards.

Arsenal and Newcastle United have both been charged and fined £30,000 by the FA for failing to control their players after Gervinho-Barton Brawl game in English Premier League.

On the opening day fixture, penalizing action goes on as players from both the sides face-up to each other after argument between the Ivorian and outspoken midfielder. The charge relays to the opening day 0-0 tie between Newcastle United and Arsenal, when Joey Barton alleged Gervinho had jumps to try to win a penalty goal before then claiming he had been hit in the face by the Ivorian midfielder.

The Ivory Coast international lost his cool and slapped Barton in the ensuing melee, and referee Peter Walton had little decision but to produce a red card, if not Newcastle might have snatched victory.

A melee ensued before the Ivorian was sent off for slapping Barton. Both teams had denied the charges but, the English FA have now over-ruled their call and ask that the fine be paid. A statement on the FA site stated: An Independent Regulatory Commission today found both Arsenal and Newcastle United and guilty of failing to control their players.

The charges relay to an incident during their newest league fixture at St James’ Park on Saturday August 13. Both clubs denied the charge and requested a non-personal hearing. In each case, the charge was confirmed by the Regulatory Commission and both clubs have been fined £30,000.

In the club’s official website statement, Newcastle told they had asked for written reasons for the conclusion from the Chairman of the Regulatory Commission and will then think about their position.

Manchester City will apparently to sign Samir Nasri from Arsenal in a £23 million deal.

Samir Nasri is eager on a move to rivals Manchester United, although it has been reported that Arsenal have said the France international that he will not be permitted to leave the Emirates this summer.

According to reports in Italy, The 23-year-old will be going ahead to Eastlands in the next few days, with Italia reporting sources that Man City have agreed a deal with the Arsenal for the former Marseille player.

Reports in recent days have suggested – If the deal is exact, the signing would send out a huge message to Man City’s Premier League rivals after the club last week signed Gael Clichy from Gunners in a £7 million deal.

And further reports on Saturday have admits that, Manchester City are ready to replace striker Carlos Tevez by signing Atletico Madrid’s Sergio Aguero and Inter Milan forward Samuel Eto’o in deals worth £55 million.

The moves for Aguero and Eto’o will enable manager Roberto Mancini to let Carlos leave the club, although Man City insist their skipper will only be sold for £50 million.

Carlos Tevez last week confirmed that, he wants to quit Eastlands this summer and City will allow their captain to leave providing their £50 million valuation is met.

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has been linked with a number of strikers over the past few weeks, with reports last week suggesting a £3 5million deal for Aguero was on the cards.

Arsenal FC will apparently make a £27 million bid for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema as Arsene Wenger looks to replace the skipper Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas is set to complete a move to Barcelona in the coming days, while Samir Nasri is widely anticipated to leave the Gunners, with Manchester United closing in on the France international.

And in a bid to reduce the double blow to the club and its fans caused by the loss of the midfield pair, Wenger will allegedly launch a bid to sign French striker Karim Benzema.

According to the sources, Arsenal will begin a £27 million bid for the 23-year-old, who has been on Wenger’s radar for sometime.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger in May fuelled speculations that, he can make a move for the French striker by saying signing Benzema was ‘not impossible,’ while news in Spain that month recommended Premier League champions Manchester United had already made contact with Real Madrid about a possible transfer.

Benzema said Wenger’s interest was “an honour,” even though he had made it clear he will remain with the Spanish giants.

Karim told that, he had spoken face to face with Jose Mourinho and he does not believe he wants to sell him this summer transfer. He was not consistent in his game last season but hopefully things have changed now.

And now he wants to show his level to the coach. He wants to prove fans the best version of Benzema this season.
