The Columbus Crew have acquired Brazilian midfielder Artur on a permanent transfer from Sao Paulo FC. The Brazilian also led the Crew in successful tackles (73) and recoveries per 90 minutes (8.01) during the regular season. “Artur was one of the most promising young players in MLS last season and completing his transfer from Sao Paulo FC was one of our priorities this offseason,” Crew head coach Gregg Berhalter said in a club release.
