AC Milan’s Stephan El Shaarawy Confirmed In Champions League Squad

Stephan El Shaarawy has been AC Milan’s most active player has been confirmed in their 25-man squad for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.
Although confirming his decision to stay at San Siro after being heavily connected with a January exit, veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi has not been handed a spot in the squad and will not aspect in the latter stages of the rivalry.
However, new signings Maxi Lopez and Djamel Mesbah have both been included, even as Alexander Merkel is on standby. The Scudetto holders seem to take control of the draw against Arsene Wenger’s team, with the first leg match to be played out in Northern Italy on Feb. 15, 2012.
