Neymar Eager To Play With David Beckham At 2012 Olympics

Brazilian striker Neymar has apparently stated that he would be honoured to play on the same pitch as David Beckham in the 2012 London Olympics.
The Santos forward met the former England skipper at a MLS game last season and unveiled that it would be a delight to play against him if the former Man. United midfielder were to take part in the Olympics this season.
According to the sources – Neymar told that it would be an eager to play against David Beckham. Luckily he had the chance to meet him last season, he was very kind and it would be an honor to play on the same pitch as him this season in London.
The 19-year-old is eagerly awaiting the start of the tournament and is aiming a first gold medal for Brazil in the football section of the rivalry. He also added that this is a dream of him, and he’s waiting to play in London and looking forward to it. Brazil has never won the gold medal and this is a possibility for us to bring it back.
Neymar also thinks the European countries do not pay enough respect to football player in the Olympics, mainly in England where sides buy talent from other nations. The Santos star believes the Olympics provide an outstanding opportunity for young players to expand and this is why sides such as Argentina and Brazil are so successful.
He continued that, People in Europe do not consider Olympic football is important because it is less essential for them to develop young players. If you take a top English side, they will have just a few English players.
Neymar has conveyed some disappointing news to Chelsea and Manchester City, as he intends to stay with Santos for two more years, which runs until July 2014.
