Liverpool FC manager Kenny Dalglish has confirmed 6-year new Kit contract shows with the American company Warrior Sports, as their club’s brand has global appeal in the international institution.
Liverpool six-year kit contract was believed to be worth around £150million. From June 1st, 2012 Warrior will manufacture Liverpool’s home, away and third sports kits, as well as training kits in a contract believed to be worth around £25 million a year to the Reds.
It is a massive opportunity for Warrior Sports to break into the football market. The firm has usually been associated with sports such as hockey in the United States. Warrior general manager Richard Wright admitted that, At Warrior Sports – they delight us on high performance and an incredible desire to win.
Their partnership with Liverpool FC, a football institution and recognized brand name across the world, is the perfect fit. He added – Warrior Sports has undertaking into football to bring our knowledge of making top level product to a new playing field.
Liverpool managing director, Ian Ayre also told that Liverpool is thrilled to be able to proclaim this fantastic partnership with Warrior Sports for the 2012/13 English Premier League season onwards.
Warrior Sports will bring its own sole brand and ideas to the partnership, ensuring that they can support us at the club both on and off the field of play. Sharing the same focus of control and winning will be an extremely important part of this partnership going forward.
The contract comes as a result of Liverpool FC ending their venerable relationship with Adidas.
