Manchester United Eye on Eden Hazard Deal

Manchester United are allegedly watching Eden Hazard on Sunday as they get ready to step up their interest in a deal with the Lille playmaker, who is also a target for Chelsea and Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old has been connected with a number of clubs from across Europe, with Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool also interested in the playmaker along with the interest of Real Madrid, AC Milan, Barcelona and Inter Milan.

Hazard has already stated that he will leave Lille at some point this season, sparking a major scramble for his signature. And even though a summer move is probable his representative has refused to rule out a January switch.

According to the sources, Man Utd scouts were in presence to watch Hazard as Lille lost 2-0 over Marseille. Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp was also in the step up watching the match, although he was there mainly to watch Marseille forward Loic Remy, who scored both goals.

It was notion that Hazard was looking to protected a summer move to Real Madrid, but last week it was unveiled that he is open to a move to England, although Spanish champions FC Barcelona also being ready to step up their interest.

The Belgium international’s rep., John Bico, confirmed that, England is not exactly a million miles away, so it would not be any great disorder. It all depends on the scheme put to Eden and the desire he senses from whoever he is talking to. Real Madrid likes him, and he likes them but, as with any player he would view Manchester United as a great prospect.

If Roman Abramovich really is providing funds to take Chelsea FC back to the top again, then they would be appealing as well. He would consider that, for sure.

Lille coach Rudi Garcia is undoubtedly feeling about the winter transfer window. Already, star striker Moussa Sow has been connected with a move away from the north of France and Hazard’s exit could very much weaken his team and the side’s chances of lifting the Champion Elle again.
