Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has threaten another bust-up with Sir Alex Ferguson verdict – by stating that he did not deserve to be punished for their last falling out.
Wayne Rooney along with Manchester United team-mates – Darron Gibson and Jonny Evans was fined after turning up for training worse for wear following a night out on Boxing Day.
The England striker was also dropped for Man. United’s with 3-2 goal score defeat at home ground to Blackburn Rovers a few days later. But, even though Rooney admitted disagreements between players and boss were part of the match, he has unveiled he did not agree with the 70-year-old’s verdict.
You can not always live in harmony – the 26-year-old as saying to the sources. Football is made up of clash, in all senses. The life in a dressing room, between players and between us and the coach, between us and loads of people, its continuous disagreement and at times it’s harsh.
When asked if he disagreed with Ferguson’s verdict to fine and drop him, he added: “Yes, but for reasons that I can’t make public. He accepted it but he was tense when he got back on the pitch [Man. United lost with 3-0 goal-score to Newcastle United and Rooney was subbed] and he consider it showed.
According to the sources – Rooney was a £60 million target for rivals Manchester City, while speculations of problems between him and Sir Alex have also alerted the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona FC.
