Tottenham 2-0 Everton: Spurs Run Towards EPL Title

Tottenham Hotspur runs towards the striking distance of English Premier League (2011/2012 EPL) leaders Manchester City after defeating to a 2-0 fantastic victory against Everton today (Jan. 11), thanks to goals from Aaron Lennon and Benoit Assou-Ekotto.
Tottenham Hotspurs are currently third place in the Premier League standings, 3 points behind Manchester City. Redknapp’s men won the game against Everton, and they have draw level on points with Manchester United in the English Premier League championship title.
When Spurs started the Premier League season with 2 shocking defeats over Man. United and Man. City, they were considered to be competing for the fourth place along with clubs such as Liverpool and Arsenal. However things have changed spurs squad, since then are now on course to challenge for the English Premier League title, if they keep battling with the right attitude.
Tottenham Manager Harry Redknapp stated that, they have improved this season, they are stronger as well, and have to believe they can do it and have that belief that they can keep challenging.
Redknapp added that, he’s not going to say they’re going to win the premiership league as it is going to be very difficult – just look at Manchester United’s squad and Manchester City’s squad; they have incredible players and can make changes everywhere.
The former West Ham manager will anticipate his players to step it up in the coming months and it will be crucial for Spurs that their two key players – Luka Modric and Gareth Bale remain well for the title run in from February onwards.
