UEFA Euro 2012 Referees Names Revealed

The governing body has revealed the list of 12 official referees that will take charge of the 31 matches at the Euro 2012 tournament in Poland and Ukraine next year.
Among Uefa referees which have named – England’s Howard Webb and Scotland’s Craig Thomson are also in the list of 12 referees, who will run games at next summer’s Euro 2012 finals.
Howard Webb, who refereed the 2010 World Cup final in South Africa, showing a record fourteen-yellow cards, will be part of the team of officials handling the 31 games in Poland and Ukraine. In the European Championship four additional officials have been appointed for the first time in the history, as assistants to allow the continuation of the experiment in the use of additional referees.
The UEFA Euro 2012 list of the main officials referees as follows:
1. Howard Webb (England)
2. Craig Thomson (Scotland)
3. Cuneyt Cakir (Turkey)
4. Jonas Eriksson (Sweden)
5. Viktor Kassai (Hungary)
6. Bjorn Kuipers (Netherlands)
7. Stephane Lannoy (France)
8. Pedro Proenca (Portugal)
9. Nicola Rizzoli (Italy)
10. Damir Skomina (Slovenia)
11. Wolfgang Stark (Germany)
12. Carlos Velasco Carballo (Spain)
UEFA has named Viktor Shvetsov (Ukraine), Pavel Kralovec (Czech Republic), Tom Harald Hagen (Norway) and Tom Harald Hagen (Norway) as the extra assistant referees at the tournament.
Euro 2012 kicks off on June 8, 2012 with the game between Poland Vs Greece.
