Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has apparently admit that 1st Premier League season loss is not going to be much affected after his team lost to Chelsea to a 2-1 victory on Monday night.
The loss proved to be City’s first loss in the English Premier League season and many consider that City’s drop from grace is now going to take place closer, rather than later. Man City is still at the top of the premiership league table, but their loss sees them sit just two points above Manchester United, who continue to maintain the pressure on the team.
Roberto Mancini talking about the match review: This defeat changes nothing for City. They know they have lost this game but the season is very long and very hard. The manager strongly feels that his team didn’t deserve to lose the game, since they were playing good football during the game.
At the same time Mancini is well attentive of the fact that his team is now going to face Arsenal next week and that is going to be a huge test for his team. They did not deserve to lose this game but they did lose and it is finished now.
Manchester City next game against Arsenal is difficult and they need to focus on that. Mancini, just like every other City player is still arguing over the fact that his team deserved a penalty when Jose Bosingwa took out David Silva in the post area.
However, despite the claims from the City players during the game, the referee went on to wave play on. The manager then went on to add that, there was a big penalty and everyone in the stadium saw the penalty. The match referee Mark Clattenburg was very close but didn’t see it.
Manchester City’s loss to Chelsea came in a somewhat dramatic manner. However, the side is determined to get their name back on top of the table and will be looking to go all out when they take on Arsenal next week.
