There are three games taking place tonight in the English Carling Cup, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Cardiff City and Blackburn Rovers all in big quarter-final action.

Two of Tuesday evening’s Carling Cup quarter-final draw is all- English Premier League fixtures. At Emirates Stadium, Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal will play host to Manchester City at Emirates Stadium, while across London at Stamford Bridge stadium – Chelsea will face on Liverpool.

Also Another English Premier League team in action tonight will be looking to avoid an upset as Cardiff City will match-up with Blackburn Rovers at Cardiff City Stadium in the Carling Cup Fixtures for Tuesday, Nov. 29th 2011.

Both matches are expected to see manager’s go for a mix of youth and experience player, as they look for their team to progress to the semi-finals which take place over two-legs in January, 2012.

Blackburn Rovers travel to Wales knowing that defeat will increase pressure on manager Steve Kean and plus point to Cardiff Manager Malky Mackay, but will a win against the Bluebirds lead to Blackburn finding some form in the Premiership.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed he will give some of his edge players a chance to amaze in their Carling Cup quarter-final over Manchester City at Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool defender Jose Enrique admitted that, there will be no excuses from the players – as they prepare for a quick turn-around for a Carling Cup quarter-final at Chelsea.
