Wales Manager, Gary Speed Shock Death at Aged 42

The Football Association of Wales has revealed the shocking news about the death of national team manager Gary Speed at the age of 42 on Sunday, November 27 (7.08 am) at Aldford Road, Huntington.

According to the official statement of Wales stated that, we extend our sympathies and condolences to the family. We ask that everybody respects the family’s privacy at this very sad time. Police officers went to the sight, where a 42-year-old man was found dead. There are no doubtful circumstances surrounding the death and next of clan have been informed.

The FAW did not reveal the circumstances of the death, but Cheshire Police soon stated that Speed was found hanged at his home in Chester on Sunday morning. Police confirmed there are no doubtful circumstances surrounding the former Everton, Newcastle United, Leeds and Bolton midfielder’s death.

Speed took charge of the Wales national team in February even though having a limited managing career at club level, and previous this month had stated the team’s improvement had surpassed expectations.

Footballers immediately reacted to the shocking news, with Manchester United striker Michael Owen, who lived near to the Speed house, commented on Twitter page that, just cannot believe the news regarding Gary Speed. He used to waved each other a couple of days ago dropping his children’s off at school. He was numb!

Liverpool attacker Craig Bellamy and Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given, who were very close to Speed, have been shocked with the news. Aston Villa’s also commented via their official Twitter account saying that, RIP Gary Speed, Condolences to his clan and pals at this very sad time.

Gary Speed was a Premier League legend having made the second utmost number of appearances in league’s history. He was respected by the fans and players alike, having won more than 50% oh the matches during his charge.
