Mario Gomez Delighted With German National Team

Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez seemingly delighted after a successful year for the German national team and is looking forward to performing with the same reliability in the European Championships next season.

Mario Gomez stated that the Die Mannschaft currently has a lot of responsibility on its shoulders after being pushed as one of the favorites to win the competition next season. He has been in striking form this season again and has scored a stunning 21 times in the 21 games played.

The Munich striker has scored in every competition he has played in this season, which includes the DFB-Pokal, Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League.

According to the sources, Gomez says that it was a brilliant season for Germany in all aspects. He claimed that it is an amazing feat to win all the 10 Euro 2012 qualifiers in the campaign fixtures. The striker also said that, the form of the team has changed from where they were two years back and the sides fear them as Germany has great quality in the squad with a host of young key players coming in the last few years.

The German international also stated on his position in the starting line-up. He admitted that Miroslav Klose has been in excellent form for the country and that it will be up to the manager Joachim Low to spot his best side on the field.

The former VFB Stuttgart added that, he will always give his best for the national team and would love to score huge goals in next season’s competition.

Mario Gomez has found the net 21 times for the country in a total of 50 appearances.
