Pep Guardiola would leave Barcelona to replace Andre Villas-Boas as Chelsea FC boss, according to super agent Enzo Bronzetti.
Chelsea’s 2-1 overcomes at home ground to Liverpool on Sunday night and against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night on Villas-Boas being out of a job by the end of the season.
Andre Villas-Boas insists owner Roman Abramovich has belief in his long-term plans regardless of a third loss in four league games, but huge pressure is on the 34-year-old, with Guus Hiddink connected with a return to Stamford Bridge in recent days.
But according to Bronzetti, Abramovich will be able to attract Guardiola to west London, claiming Chelsea is the only target for the Spaniard. Following news suggesting Guardiola might in the future take charge of Inter Milan, Bronzetti told Controcampo: It can’t happen!
First, because Guardiola does not fall any longer into the economic parameters of Inter Milan which, as you know, are trying to get rid of all difficult contracts: Chivu is leaving and other important players will also.
And of Chelsea FC, he added that, Guardiola has only one destination i.e. Chelsea – because Villas Boas is not doing as well as they say. Guardiola will be there in the end with Txiki Begiristain, his former sport director at Barcelona. The twosome will be at Chelsea. Otherwise, he goes to the Arab countries.
Meanwhile, Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has uttered his pride with his team’s 3-2 UEFA Champions League Group H victory away from home ground over AC Milan.
The Blaugrana head coach was very pleased with the Catalans’ performance at San Siro stadium and is positive they can struggle for trophies again this season.
