Professional Footballers’ Association chief Gordon Taylor has claimed that Sepp Blatter to quit as FIFA president, after claiming that there is not a problem with racism in football.
FIFA president Sepp Blatter’s comments on racism have been widely fated. It is not the first time the Fifa president has told the wrong thing. Blatter on Wednesday admits that, any incidents should be settled by a handshake on the football ground.
Blatter comments come at a time, when the Football Association is investigating Chelsea skipper John Terry and has charged Liverpool FC striker Luis Suarez over alleged racist comments.
The Football Association have charged
Liverpool striker Suarez with racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra during the 1-1 draw between the two sides at Anfield on October 15th, 2011.
According to the sources, Blatter claimed that, there is no racism, but maybe there is a word or sign which is not the correct one. The one affected by this must say this is a game and shake hands.
His comments were criticized immediately by the Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand on the Twitter account. His tweet that, he has just read Sepp Blatter’s comments on racism in football wrong….if not then he’s astonished.
Former Tottenham striker Garth Crooks gushes that, Blatter is a man out of time and out of touch, while Stan Collymore was one of a number of well known names on Twitter calling for the 75-year-old to quit after his latest mistake.
Sepp Blatter’s name was a trending topic on Twitter account shortly, after his comments were tweeted, with many calling for him to quit immediately.
