Real Madrid is apparently ready to open a bid for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez in January transfer window.
Real’ were associated with Tevez during the summer, with the Argentina international one of several forwards on Jose Mourinho’s list of possible transfer goals. It was thought that City’s high raising price was a reason for Los Blancos failing to put a bid with the English Premier League club during the summer transfer window.
Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan are both alleged to be interested in signing the 27-year-old, but according to the inside sources, Real are ready to open a bid for the former Manchester United striker in the summer fall.
Carlos Tevez is set to leave Manchester City in January, as a result of his alleged refusal to come off the bench and play in the recent 2-0 UEFA Champions League defeat away to Bayern Munich. He was given a two-week suspension by the club, as a result of the events in Germany, despite claiming he was misunderstood by City manager Roberto Mancini.
This week, Tevez will find out what action the club will intend to take next reports last week that the Blues would look to extend his ban. But according to report, Manchester City’s asking price for the Argentine might still prove to be too high for Real Madrid. The Blues are said to want at least £35 million for their former skipper, while his £250,000-a-week wages may also be a big uncertain block.
Diego Maradona has specified Al Wasl will not be making a move for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez. It had been reported that Al Wasl would bid the striker an escape route, but Maradona, speaking after watching his team give way to a 5-0 loss to Dubai, has suggested a transfer is not possible for financial reasons.
