Real Madrid is allegedly preparing to make a bid for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez in January transfer.
Carlos Tevez was suspended by Man. City on Wednesday night, 24 hours after he angered manager Roberto Mancini by not wanting to come off the bench in the second-half of the club’s 2-0 defeat against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.
Roberto Mancini insists the 27-year-old will not play for the Man City club again and it is thought that the Italian is already looking for somebody they can relieve him to when the transfer window re-opens in the New Year fall.
Speculations last week suggested that, Inter Milan were lining-up a fresh bid to sign Tevez in January transfer after failing to agree a fee with Manchester City last month. The Argentina international was keen on securing a move away from the Etihad Stadium over the summer in a bid to be closer to his two daughters in his home state.
Earlier to Inter being unable to agree a fee, Tevez had seen a move to Corinthians fall through. Corinthians are still thought to be interested in the former Manchester United forward, but according to sources, Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho was also interested in signing Tevez and it was thought he can have made a bid, after missing out on Sergio Aguero who moved from rivals Atletico Madrid to join Man City.
Jose Mourinho has relatively few choices available to him in attack and after being quoted £50 million for Tevez in the summer, knows his asking price is expected to be noticeably less as a result of his actions in Germany.
