Queens Park Rangers eye on LA Galaxy Star David Beckham

Queens Park Rangers have allegedly opened talks over a move for LA Galaxy star David Beckham. His deal with LA Galaxy finishes at the end of the MLS season and he is yet to agree a new contract.
David Beckham has been backed to return to the English Premier League this season following fresh speculations a linking him with move to QPR. Talks at the weekend had suggested QPR’s new owner and chairman Tony Fernandes ha eye on luring the 36-year-old to Loftus Road.
On Wednesday morning suggested the Hoops were closing in on the former Real Madrid and Manchester United midfielder. Fernandes admits that: He thinks having someone like David Beckham in the club would be great; he was always in his thoughts. Let’s see.
The 36-year old MLS contract finishes in November, which means he can leave LA Galaxy on a free transfer. There is alleged to be a whole host of clubs keen in bringing him back to European football with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspurs and AC Milan all apparently monitoring the positions.
Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock has not been retiring in splashing the cash since Fernandes took over last month, with Anton Ferdinand, Joey Barton and Shaun Wright-Phillips all moving to Loftus Road late on in the transfer window.
Signing LA Galaxy star would be a great marketing opportunity and Fernandes is already allegedly eyeing up establishing a QPR brand in Asia, where the former Manchester United star is massively popular.
However, according to other news, David Beckham will not think about his future opportunity until his contract finishes.
