Ronaldinho could start for Brazil when they face Ghana on Monday evening in an international friendly match at Craven Cottage in London.Brazil are looking to put a disappointing 2011 Copa America campaign behind them and coach Mario Menezes has reacted to their failure by making several changes to his squad, including bringing back former Barcelona and AC Milan star Ronaldinho. The 31-year-old, who has set his highlights on being part of the team for World Cup 2014 in Brazil, is likely to support strikers Leandro and Neymar, and at the home of Fulham.
Brazil has won their last five matches on British ground over a variety of opponents. Their last overcome in the UK came almost 20 years ago in 1991. The match was held in Cardiff and Wales earned a 1-0 striking victory.Meanwhile, Ghana is missing key-striker Asamoah Gyan and that will be a foremost blow to their chances of claiming the scalp of Brazil. Ghana is currently triumphant during their AFCON qualification campaign. The Black Stars have never beaten Brazil in a senior international match.
The African squad has impressed with their performances lately and has only lost one of their last nine matches. That defeat came against South Korea in a friendly match. Ghana’s last match in the UK was a spirited performance over the English national squad at Wembley Stadium. The Black Stars performed fine and earned a 1-1 draw.
