Diego Maradona Landed in UAE to take Charge of Al Wasl Club

The Argentine legend Diego Maradona has officially landed to Dubai to begin his work at Al Wasl having accepted their training job about three months ago.Former Argentina coach Maradona has lastly attended his first coaching session with new club Al Wasl after landing to UAE this week. The 50-year-old led the motivated Emirati club in training on Thursday with a vast media crowd watching on.
Maradona has told the eye witness that, he is more excited to be back and he’s anxious to start working with the Al Wasl squad. He has been always thinking of different training methods and new strategies, while he was away, even while he was on the plane. There are new ideas and campaigns preparing in his head and he can’t wait to start applying them on the ground.
Last week, Al Wasl signed Uruguayan striker Juan Manuel Olivera from Penarol on Maradona’s suggestion. The chairman Marwan bin Bayat told the presence of Maradona was great for Dubai and UAE football team.
Bin Bayat admits that, Maradona is not only a guest of Al Wasl club, but for Dubai as a whole. As such, we are extremely sure that he will love his new ground and can speak for the entire city when we say, we are happy to have you here.
