Southampton – Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Joins Arsenal Club

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has completed his move to Arsenal FC having agreed personal terms and undergone a medical test at the Gunners London Colney training ground.
The precociously gifted Southampton youngster had arrived at Arsenal’s training ground this afternoon to undergo a medical test, after the clubs reached an agreement on a package of £12 million to take the player, 18 next week, to the Emirates Stadium.
Oxlade-Chamberlain joins the Arsenal’s following his penetrate season at St Mary’s Stadium, where he played a key position as Southampton was encouraged from English League One to the Championship.
The 17-year-old scoring 10 goals in 41 league appearances and being voted in the PFA League One Team of the Year. After finishing the signing of the youngster, who walks the same road as Theo Walcott five years ago, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits the club’s official website: “We are enchanted that Alex has decided to join us.
Alex is a thrilling young player, who will provide us with creativity and offensive quality. He is an all-around player, who can play in a number of positions. He can play as a wide left and right, or attacking centre midfielder.
Alex is a keen passer of the ball and has a great understanding of the game and looks to be a very good team player.
Oxlade-Chamberlain says that, he is now looking forward to testing himself in the English Premier League with Arsenal.
