Barcelona will play host to Bayern Munich in the Audi Cup 2011 match. Barcelona vs Bayern Munich live match will be held at the Allianz Arena on Thursday, July 28, 2011.

The Catalans managed to see off International in the semi-final without the use of several of their best players, so the coach Pep Guardiola will have many choices available as he prepares for the clash against Bayern Munich.

The last time Barcelona visited Munich in pre-season was in 2007 year, when the Catalans earned a 1-0 fabulous victory through Lionel Messi’s late goal.

Pep Guardiola’s squad set-off to the United States on a visit after this competition, and will meet Manchester United in a repeat of the sides Champions League final at the end of May 2011.

However, South American group players – Alexis Sanchez, Javier Mascherano, Lionel Messi, Gabriel Milito, Adriano and Dani Alves will all be missing this match, as they enjoy a brief break following the 2011 Copa America.

Bayern Munich has won the first and only former Audi Cup in 2009 year, edging Manchester United in the final next to a penalty shoot-out.

The Germans have spent an estimated €47 million on transfers this summer, bringing in the likes of Rafinha, Manuel Neuer and Jerome Boateng.
