Udinese’s Spanish Alexis Sanchez will lastly complete his €43 million deal to Barcelona very soon with only “minor details” to be taken care of.
Former Chile coach and new Athletic Bilbao manager Marcelo Bielsa has backed Alexis Sanchez’s potential move from Udinese to Barcelona, believing the Chile international is good enough to succeed at any club in the world.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs in recent weeks, including Manchester United, Chelsea and Man City, while there has also been interest from several Serie A sides.
But Barcelona have always been seen as favorites to sign the Udinese international, whose former national coach, Marcelo Bielsa, former said he believed a deal to take the winger to Camp Nou would be completed “very soon”.
Alexis is currently away at the 2011 Copa America with Chile, but a Camp Nou switch appears imminent after discussions reached advanced stages over the last few days.
And now Quique Pina, who is also a president of Granada, has revealed that a contract believed to be worth around €43 to €45 million will soon be finalized.
Quique Pina was quoted by Cadana COPE as stating that, the transfer of Alexis will be completed this week, the talks have reached a stage – where it is safe to believe that he will sign for Barcelona as there are only some minor details to be taken care of.
Granada and Udinese have a partnership contract and a move to Udinese would see Jeffren loaned out to the Spanish team.
