David de Gea shot-stopper has arrived in England club and had a medical ahead of his proposed contract to Manchester United.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been well-known by Sir Alex Ferguson as the long-term successor to Edwin van der Sar at Old Trafford.
Manchester United are prepared to spend upwards of £17 million deal in order to protected his signature, with it extensively fixed that he is the most promising shot-stopper in Europe.
De Gea underlined his apparent potential on Saturday, as he helped Spain to European Under21 Championship glory.
Having put transfer talk on hold while he competed in that tournament, he is now set to push ahead with a move to England.
De Gea has been PIC arriving at the Bridgewater Hospital and is all set to put the new contact to an agreement with Man United.
His arrival at Old Trafford will see the Red Devils push their summer spending fling past, the £50 million mark and continue with their policy of snapping up young talent.

Such is the Spaniard’s standing that, national and Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina, who seems expected to face De Gea when the north-west competitors fight at Anfield stadium on Oct 15, 2011 reacted certainly to the player’s move.
