Manchester United has finished the contract of Aston Villa and England international star Ashley Young.
Manchester United has long been likely to tie up an England star deal for Young, who had expressed an aspiration to play Champions League football.
The 25-year-old winger has now completed the five-year deal after the clubs agreed a fee reported to be between £15 million and £20 million, who have seemingly paid £16 million for the former Watford man’s services.
A statement on the Red Devil’s official website declares: Man United is delighted to announce it has reached agreement with Aston Villa and England international star for the transfer of Ashley Young.
The key player passed a medical in Manchester this week and has agreed a five-year contract.
In an interview that will air on MU TV later this evening, Young declares that, the opportunity to come and play for one of the biggest clubs in the world is one he could not turn down.
It is a chance to hopefully become part of the history by helping to succeed the 20th Premier League title.
It is a prospect; he always looked at from being a child to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Ashley Young becomes the second summer appearance at Old Trafford, with Man United having already enfolded up a £16.5 million swoop for Blackburn Rovers and England Under 21 defender Phil Jones.
