Manchester United club is apparently planning to set up a £10million bid for Arsenal winger Samir Nasri.
On Thursday it appeared that the France international had become Manchester United’s top transfer target, as they look to replace Paul Scholes in midfield position.
And according to the sources: On Friday, Manchester United are planning to set up a £10million bid for the 23-year-old Arsenal winger, with the Premier League champions out lining their interest in Samir to a third party.
Samir Nasri’s agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes, has not been involved in any beginning talks. Sources said.
Arsenal club is set to sell the former Marseille midfielder, unless he agrees a new deal in the coming weeks. The France international has twelve months left on his existing contract and has been offered a new deal worth £90,000-a-week.
But, the 23-year-old is apparently unwilling to enter into agreement talks until he is satisfied with Arsenal’s spending and policy’s for over the summer as he looks for manager Arsene Wenger to pay out big in the transfer market.
Manchester United could still make moves for Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric or Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder should their attempts to attract Nasri away from north London fail.
But, the Gunners Wenger will undoubtedly do everything he can to stop one of his best key players moving to Old Trafford.
