Sir Alex Ferguson plans squad for Champions League Final

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has restated his search to boost his title winning chanes for UEFA Champions League final with some new signings this summer.
The frequent loan players give the boss some Sir Alex more options to review but, he knows the loss of several elder statesmen is going to leave some breaks at Old Trafford. At Man United’s annual awards dinner on Wednesday night, Sir Alex makes clear about the current situation regarding his squad.
Sir Alex is looking at possibly a brace, maybe three signings or more, which would boost his overall quality in the United’s side. They have some thoughts in mind and hopefully, can get them put in place soon. Sources said.
United’s way are looking at this, as they have Ryan Giggs coming towards the end of his soccer career. Since, the key player Gary Neville’s already retired and also Paul Scholes is coming to the end of his career.
Manchester United goal-keeper Edwin van der Sar’s retiring and there are some holes, they wants to plug up in terms of the security and safety of the side in the next few seasons.
However, United have several outstanding young players, such as Chris Smalling has been extremely superb this season, Jonny Evans has come back to great appearance, the two key players – da Silvas keep progressing in form and Chicharito has an incredible season, like Darron Gibson.
Manchester United has also got Danny Drinkwater, Mame Diouf, Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley coming back, so it gives them quite a leading squad.
Manchester United takes on Barcelona kick-off May 28, 2011 in the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley Stadium.
