FC Barcelona will face Real Madrid at Mestalla on Wednesday evening and the winners will be crowned as Spanish champs.
The Spanish Cup football game between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid kicks off 19:30 on 20th April 2011 at Mestalla, Spain. The Spanish league clash between the two sides ended in a draw, with both teams scoring a goal each.
Not much required to be saying about these two teams, it is ample to say El Classico, second one in a rank in one week and there will be more of those spectacles soon again.
Barcelona is better team than opponents, playing diverse technique. Their most likely essential advantage is the fact they know each other longer than real’s players do and something everyone familiar with Barcelona’s play style could have noticed.
FC Barcelona has played sixteen Primera Division games this season on Camp Nou. On home ground, Barcelona has won 14, drawn 1 and lost 1 games and this ranked the Barca 2nd in home team performance in the Spain Primera Division.
Barcelona has also been runners up on 9 occasions, but has won their last 3 final games. With 25 huge victories to their credit, no side is as successful as Barcelona in the Copa del Rey.
Real Madrid has been coming up with strong form with every game. They would definitely take positives from in this game and will plan tactic to stop the Catalans and take home the trophy.
Real Madrid has played sixteen Primera Division matches this season away from home. On away ground, Real Madrid has won 10, drawn 4 and lost 2 games and this ranked Los Galacticos 2nd in away team performance in the Spain Primera Division.
Barcelona is stronger in my eyes, Real Madrid is very good too, but Barca is simply better and more compact then Real’s. My advice for this great clash will be Barcelona’s win.
Possible staring line up:
Barcelona: Valdes; Alves, Pique, Busquets, Adriano, Xavi, Mascherano, Iniesta; Villa, Messi and Pedro.
Real Madrid: Casillas, Ramos, Pepe, Carvalho, Marcelo, Khedira, Alonso; Ronaldo, Ozil, Di Maria and Adebayor.
