Ralf Rangnick expects an Inter Milan Eto’o backlash FC Schalke squad visits the San Siro in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday evening at 18:45 GMT.

Inter Milan is going to this match, after lost derby match to AC Milan with 0-3 score and it is only five point’s difference from them. Such result playing against big rivals will certainly enhance Inter up for the future match. After this defeat, they sit in the 3rd place now and hopes to lift the title are nearly dead.

Samuel Eto’o is tied with Lionel Messi and Mario Gomez for the most goals in the current Champions League battle (eight). Inter have won seven of their last eight Champions League matches at San Siro.

Inter Milan has played fifteen Italy Serie A matches this season on Stadio Giuseppe Meazza San Siro. On home ground, Inter Milan has won eleven, drawn three and lost one matches. This ranks the Nerazzurri 1st in home team performance in the Italy Serie A.

It is a very important match against Schalke coming up, the manager and the players told that they already forgot about a failure to AC Milan and they need to look forward. Inter have got full squad available, apart from Lucio who is suspended.

Schalke had a great match on Friday against St.Pauli. Schalke was leading at that point with 2-0 score and St.Pauli had already 2 red cards, but the German Football Federation will most expected reward a win for Schalke.

FC Schalke 04 has played 13 German 1 Bundesliga matches this season away from home. Their away ground form is really bad in local league and won three, drawn three and lost seven matches. Only two other Bundesliga teams have worse record and this ranks Die Knappen (The Knaves) 16th in away team performance in the German 1 Bundesliga.

All in all, Schalke is a strange side, sometimes they get really good results (away win against Bayern in a cup match) when you did not even think they could, but I do not think they will get it Tonight game!
