United States will play against Paraguay in the International Friendly on 30th March, 2011 at LP Field in Nashville, Tennessee. The game will kick-off at 00:00 GMT.
The United States soccer team travels to Nashville in Tennessee to play against strong side Paraguay on 30th March. They are going to face one of the top teams in the world. Sources stated that, most of the players spend their time outside the country, playing for the European Club teams. United States midfielder Michael Bradley is playing soccer for the Aston Villa in the English Premier League.
United States center back Jay DeMerit, striker Landon Donovan and forward Clint Dempsey returned to the team. Jay DeMerit and goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann are selected for United States team for the first time, since World Cup. Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey are not picked, since the last tournament played in South Africa in last June.
United States coach Bob Bradley said that Paraguay played well in the World Cup and they have strong mentality for the players. United States soccer officials said that, around 21,000 tickets have been sold out for the match and tickets are also available at the LP Field box office. Paraguay enters to the quarterfinals of the 2010 Football World Cup before losing to Spain 1-0.
