The International Friendly football game between Portugal and Finland will kick off at 19:45 GMT on Tuesday, 29th March, 2011 at Dr. Magalhaes Pessoa.

Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz has named new players debutants in his squad for the Finland’s game on Tuesday.

Portugal is currently taking second position in Group H Euro 2012 championship qualifying with seven points from four games, three fewer than leaders Norway. The Seleccao drew their last international game.

Portugal coach Paulo Bento’s first game in-charge of the national squad ended in a 3-1 defeat against Denmark in Porto in the Euro qualifiers. It was a 1-1 draw with Chile in Leiria last week as Matias Fernandez fabulous goal on 41st minute cancelled out Silvestre Varela’s opener after just 16th minute.

Finland is currently taking fifth position in Group E Euro 2012 championship qualifying with three points from the four games so far, six fewer than second placed Hungary. However, they have played a game more.

Markku Kanerva has been appointed the Finland coach in November 2010 and is actually a caretaker-manager at the moment.

The Eagle-Owls drew their last international game. It was a 1-1 draw against Belgium in Gentbrugge in February. As Roni Porokara suspended out, an Axel Witsel opener for the hosts.

Possible starting XI:

Portugal Team: Patricio, J. Pereira, Rolando, Carvalho, Coentrao, Martins, Meireles, Moutinho, Nani, Almeida and Quaresma.

Finland Team: Fredrikson, Raitala, Moisander, Heikkinen, Pasanen, Vayrynen, R. Eremenko, A. Eremenko Jr, Porokara, Forssell and Sadik.
