The International Friendly football game between Ukraine and Italy kicks off 18:45 GMT on Tuesday, 29th March, 2011 at Olympic Stadium – International Friendly Game.

Ukraine is playing well now and they cannot miss the chance of scoring goals, if they can do so. They will have to catch every big opportunity available against Italy. The midfield for this game for Ukraine will be a bit of a concern for the Italian monster, but they will have to play well.

Andriy Shevchenko has kept Ukraine side back on level terms in the second half games, before Di Natale finished his brace in the 77th minute to give the Azzurri a vital triumph in Kiev.

Ukraine is winless in their last five games with a record of zero wins, drawn four and loss one.
Shevchenko has scored 45 goals for this Ukraine’s side and stood as all time leading scorer in the major games.

Anatoliy Tymoshchuk has 103 caps for the national team and Ukraine will co-host Euro 2012 along with Poland.

Italy is the current leader in the Euro 2012 Qualifications group. The squad has a win and a draw away from home, a 2-1 victory against Estonia and a 0-0 draw against Northern Ireland. The team has got three points from the give up game over Serbia, sending them right to the top.

Brazilian-born Thiago Motta scored the only goal of the game in Italy’s 1-0 win against Slovenia in Euro 2012 qualifying on Friday.

However, Italy are clean from their victory against Slovenia on Friday night, are set to catch horns with Ukraine side in an international friendly at the Lobanovsky Dynamo Stadium.

Daniele De Rossi and Mario Balotelli were left out of the team for punitive reasons. Giuseppe Rossi is the only player in Coach Cesare Prandelli’s 25-man team, who plays his trade outside of Serie A.
