Leicester City has secured the loan deal signing of Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara and he will join the team after the end of the season.
Diomansy Kamara (30-year-old) Senegal international has joined Sven Goran Eriksson’s team on a deal which will include the Championship play-offs, if the Leicester City (Foxes) is involved.
Sven-Goran Eriksson’s squad has moved into the top half of the table, and the Swede told that the adding up of Kamara might give the side a great desired experience.
Eriksson stated that the Kamara is a fabulous striker and will be a huge count to our side. He brings with him speed, good technical talent and Premier League quality. He is sure that Kamara will mend in well and be a thrilling key player for the club.
Kamara has played his football in England ever since 2004, with spells at Portsmouth, West Bromwich and Fulham.
However, he made his name in English football at West Brom Albion, scoring 23 goals that led the Baggies into the Championship play-offs in 2007 year. Before making a £6 million deal to Craven Cottage, he has scored eighteen times in 68 appearances.
Having with a great effort to break into the first side for the Cottagers in current times, Kamara also had a loan spell last year with Celtic.
Senegal international is looking ahead to work under Sven-Goran Eriksson as well as fellow striker Ayegbeni Yakubu, whom he played along-side at Portsmouth in the past six seasons.
