Birmingham manager, Alex McLeish has seen his team winning incredibly over Arsenal in the Carling Cup last night. The dream win of the Birmingham gave shock to the Arsenals by defeating them with 2-1 victory. Obafemi Martins scored wonderfully in the last minute of the normal time that changed that game towards them.
The former Rangers and Scotland boss, Alex McLeish said that the victory over the Arsene Wenger’ superstars was his greatest achievement in his career as a manager. Alex led the Rangers to two championships and five cup wins in five consecutive years at Ibrox and also managed Scotland to a famous victory over France in 2007.
After the victory over the odds, he stated that it was very difficult to take it in just how well this team has done to win a game against the mighty Arsenal. He thought that it was a dream comes true after the final whistle was blown. Relatively speaking it is the greatest achievement in his career. However, coming to England and winning the final at his first attempt is really a great thing to achieve.
Martins was so excited to score the winning goal and he need to be careful of his touch, so he tried his best not to make any mistake and they won. Alex McLeish lifted the European Cup Winners’ Cup with Aberdeen and also led the Rangers to a Treble but insisted that it was the sweetest moment of his life.
