Caulker Wins Younger Player of the Month Award

Caulker rewarded young player of the month award: Steven Roy Caulker the teenager caught the eye with some admirable displays in the November month, as the “Young Player of the Month” for the npower Football League in the month of November displays at the heart of Bristol City’s defense.
Steven Roy Caulker, who will turn nineteen, next week, is an English under-21 international footballer. Who plays as a centre back for Championship club Bristol City on loan from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.
His impressive performances during this loan spell brought him to the attention from the relegation zone with three wins and three clean sheets in the last month and this contribution got noticed by this city boss Keith Millen.
He also made the impressive displays for his first-team debut for Spurs in their 4-1 Carling Cup third round defeat by Arsenal in the last week.
Caulker said: “I’m pleased to achieve this award and I’ll look to progress in future months”
“We’re on a good run as a team and we’ll look to continue it. I’m gaining experience with every game and the boys here have helped me improve” while receiving the award.
Added to this Keith Millen told: “He’s a young lad who’s learning the game very quickly and has got a fantastic attitude. Each game that goes by he’s improving and learning. He’s taken it all in his stride.”
Every month, the Football league will be award the Young Player of the Month to the under 21 year’s player who has made the most indicative contribution in the football team.
