Carlos Tevez: Manchester city manager Robert Mancini is ready to remove captaincy of Carlos Tevez. Mancini and Tevez, who have met on Friday, discussed the transfer request of Tevez.
Manchester City will play with Everton today, Mancini is thinking about changeover of captaincy which might be handed over to Kolo Toure or Vincent Kompany. In spite of ongoing issue of Tevez the city manager is most likely to play with Tevez in today’s match with Everton.
The city manager has no choice to consider the change the captain until the dispute is solved. The Manchester city has denied the transfer request of Tevez and said that he will not bid him in January. The administration is expected that Tevez will be available to city until the contract of three years ends.
The City, yet to inform the club about the change of captaincy, whether Kolo Toure or Vincent Kompany would take the captaincy is a huge decision to make. The adviser of Tevez reportedly said that if they had removed Tevez from captaincy, will also be strong reason to quit from the city.
