Didier Drogba will Continue with Chelsea

Chelsea chief executive, Ron Gourlay confirmed that Didier Drogba will continue with Chelsea as the rumors are spreading that Drogba will play for Stamford Bridge this summer.
Chelsea denied all the speculations and said that they are not releasing Ivory Coast player, Drogba. In the beginning of this month, Drogba’s agent, Thierno Seydi said that Drogba is looking to move to Manchester City.
According to the policies of deal between Drogba and Chelsea, Drogba have to continue till 2012. Chelsea coach, Carlos Ancelotti has made two deals with Liverpool player, Yossi Benayoun and defender, Tomas Kalas i
n this summer.
Ron Gourlay said that he is ready to acquire two more players into the team. But, the players should be good in their performance and must fit to the squad.
Didier Drogba is the captain and all-time top scorer of Ivory Coast. Drogba performed well in the 2010 Football World Cup. In July 2004, Didier Drogba made an agreement with Chelsea which worth’s £24 million. During his first season, he faced some health problems and was ruled out for two months. Drogba played a key role in Chelsea’s first Premiership title victory by scoring a goal in extra time against Liverpool. That is their first Premiership title in 50 years.
In his first season, Didier Drogba scored 10 goals in Premiership and five goals in Champions League and one goal in League Cup final in 40 matches.
