Birmingham midfielder, Barry Ferguson has extended his contract with Birmingham for one year and he will continue with Birmingham till the 2012 summer.
Barry Ferguson has received the Birmingham City player of the year award for the last season. Barry Ferguson joined the Birmingham City in July 2009.
Barry Ferguson was fired by their former national boss, George Burley from the captaincy and finally, he was out of Scotland team. Burley fired Ferguson for the late-night drinking before their World Cup qualifier match against Iceland.
Barry Ferguson is willing to perform well in the upcoming season and also looking to improve the team’s performance. In the last Premier League season, Birmingham finished the season in the ninth position.
“I loved my first season down here at Birmingham and I was more than happy to extend the contract by another season.” said Barry Ferguson.
