Serbia is making their first World Cup appearance in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and for Ghana; this is the second time after their debut in Germany four years ago.
Ghana has strengthened after the join of Sulley Muntari, who recovered from a thigh injury. Sulley Muntari was in rest for their final warm-up match. But, striker Michael Essien was sidelined for the entire World Cup season due to knee injury. Stephen Appiah will lead the Ghana and John Pantsil is ready to start in defence.
Serbia defender, Nemanja Vidic remains doubtful due to illness and he was sidelined for their friendly matches against Poland and Cameroon. Serbia coach, Radomir Antic has no fresh injury concerns for today’s match. Nikola Zigic is ready to start in attack.
