Diego Maradona: Argentina Soccer Team Coach Diego Maradona: Diego Maradona is one of the soccer legend and Argentina soccer team coach.
Diego Maradona was born in 30 October 1960 in Lanus, Buenos Aires. Maradona and Pele were elected for the FIFA Player of the Century award.
Maradona is famously known as “Hand of God”. Maradona was the captain of Argentina’s 1986 World Cup winning team. During that World Cup, Argentina won against West Germany in the final. In that World Cup, he received a Golden Ball award and tournament’s best player award.
In the 1986 World Cup quarter-final, he scored two goals against England where they won with 2-1. He has stolen many hearts during that match for two reasons. One is, Maradona’s first goal was un-penalized handball known as the “Hand of God” and second, he scored second goal by running with a ball for spectacular 60-meter weave through six England players, commonly referred to as “The Goal of the Century”.
