For 2010 Football World Cup, it is clear that Rio Ferdinand is undoubtedly prepared to join team England. After his back injury, now he is gearing up to face the battle.
Rio Ferdinand played only 21 matches in this season with Manchester United due to back injury. After getting permission from the team management, Rio Ferdinand will act as England captain for their match against United States on 12th June in the 2010 Football World Cup. Rio Ferdinand is playing in his fourth World Cup campaign.
