FIFA opened eleven counters across the country for the last phase of sales. All the soccer fans lined up outside a shopping mall in Soweto—near where the opening game and the 2010 Football World Cup final will be held at Soccer City.
FIFA ticket center manager, Richard Lalla told that the final tickets will be for “a few minutesâ€. But, it was sufficient time for Malin Fisher. He is a 32-year-old trainee church minister; he has spent 10,000 rands ($1,370) on six tickets, including two for football’s biggest game.
Malin Fisher was the first person, who received tickets at newly opened ticket center after queuing overnight and said, “an incredible feeling†to have 2010 Football World Cup final tickets.
