On Wednesday, Sheff Wednesday will face Watford in the Coca-Cola Football League match at Hillsborough.

Watford lost with 3-1 score at Cardiff on Sunday and willing to retain their second tier status.

Sheff Wednesday striker Luke Varney is available for the todays match and skipper Darren Purse remains doubtful. Darren Purse is struggling with hamstring injury which makes him a goalless draw against Derby at weekend and will face a late fitness test. Richard Hinds will play for Darren Purse and will continue until Darren Purse recover. Winger Jermaine Johnson is also remains doubtful due to hamstring problem, so Etienne Esajas is likely to play.

Watford players Jay DeMerit and Henri Lansbury are remains doubtful and Skipper DeMerit was sidelined for Sunday’s match due to back injury and Lansbury is also struggling with a hip problem. These two players also remains doubtful for the todays match.

Adrian Mariappa was transferred to centre of defence from right-back in the weekend match for DeMerit. If Lansbury is unavailable then Ross Jenkins will join in the squad. Buckley is available for the todays match after recovering from thigh problem.
